... even if it comes with a few downfalls. Of leaves that is. Big, yellow, crunchy, stick to everything but the trash bag leaves. My Grandparents live in the middle of a beautiful tree filled neighborhood. The only problem is their yard seems to be the vortex to which all leaves are drawn. Nearly an acre of fallen tree stars scattered around and dancing with the wind. It's a beautiful sight when you pull up their driveway...until you see Grandpa standing there with rake in hand. You shudder a little, take a deep breath and plunge into your duty.
It is with an apology that I announce there will be no omelet of the day today. However, I don't want anyone to feel sad. There are plenty to get you started on this weekend! A perfect opportunity to practice flipping, experiment with oils and decide which pan you love the most!
I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if you would post your omelet experiences! Tell me what you tried, what you substituted, what you liked and what you hated!
I will be back tomorrow with a brand new creation! Until then... Happy Breakfast!!!

ReplyDeleteYou inspired me to make my own omelettte creation this morning. 3 eggs and butter, salt and pepper. stuffing was sharp cheddar and, get this, leftover fall veggies stew. Sounds too wet? Nope. I squeezed the soupy part out and used the veggies. So yummy! I'll email you a pic 'cause I'm proud.
